Client – Brun Bear Foundation
The Challenge
The Downham TRIPLE Challenge is a community based charity event organised by The Brun Bear Foundation. They engage participants in three consecutive challenges and then brings everyone together for a two course buffet and entertainment.
The Brun Bear Foundation, wanted to promote their event to potential participants, businesses that might have an interest in supporting as well as use as a marketing tool to clone the event in other parts of London and further afield.
The client wanted a video that celebrated the event as a great sporting and community event, communicated the charitable dimension, thanked sponsors and also could be used as a promotional tool by The Brun Bear Foundation.
The Strategy
We met with the client to discuss their requirements in detail. On the day we shot a range of footage including the sporting challenges, social elements and the setting and interspersed this with interviews with participants, sponsors and beneficiaries of the day. We included interviews with the founder so that he could personally communicate the charity’s ethos, the thinking behind the TRIPLE Challenge event and the ambitions for the event.
Client Feedback: “Nigel did an outstanding job. He took the time to clearly understand our requirements and was full of ideas and suggestions. He had a very complete understanding of the brief and executed it perfectly. We have seen the results in increased numbers of participants and sponsors which in turn has supported us in our objectives of bringing the community together for a fantastic event that benefits a mix of community, medical and animal welfare charities. The video is a useful marketing tool in our discussions around cloning the event and expanding generally.” Edwin Lampert, founder, The Brun Bear Foundation.
